The 2018 World Cup set in Russia this year promises to be spectacular. 21 years of World Cup and the excitement never dies! The usual suspects are always there; Spain, Germany, France and England.
Recapping the previous game in 2014, Germany took the cup beating Argentina 1-0 at the very last minutes of extra time!
However, it will be very interesting to watch how the dark horses -Belgium- fare, as players such as Kevin De Bruyne and Hazard are at reaching the peak of their careers. Portugal will also be a team to look out for as they will look to follow up on their shocking Euro 2016 win.
As for me, I will be rooting for my favorite team, Brazil, as they look to avenge their embarrassing exit from FIFA 2014. Boasting a better all-round team from top to bottom with premier league title favorites- Manchester City’s Ederson, Champions League holder- Real Madrid’s Marcelo, and not to mention the most expensive player in the world, Neymar Jr.
Some of the teams have yet revealed their new kits. Adidas and Nike are part of the sponsors for a vast majority of said 23 team jerseys this year. Can’t wait to officially see all the new kits from each team!
