Getting Ready for Hari Raya Festivities

Singapore is known for its diverse population due to the number of people coming from different cultures and backgrounds, made up of different ethnic groups of people. Therefore, there are many cultural or religious festivals to celebrate as well as attractive places to visit.

Ramadhan is fast approaching, and the place along the East West Line – from Eunos all the way to Bugis, is getting more crowded and colourful than those on normal days.

This is due to the bazaars that will be set up on 2 major areas such as Kampong Glam and Geylang Serai to celebrate the festivities. During this period, these areas are packed with people hunting for those “hipster” foods and beverages – hipster as in out of the norm or peculiar. Thus it is a good opportunity for many F&B business owners to promote their businesses by renting a stall for the bazaars.

Apart from that, Arab Street is well-known for its household items, a place for people to look for home furnishings such as carpets and fabrics for curtains, as well a traditional clothing to celebrate Eid.

Moving on, another tourist attraction located 5-minute walk away from Arab Street is the Malay Heritage Centre, a cultural centre and museum that showcases the culture, heritage and history of Malay Singaporeans.

You will then find another bazaar just by going all the way down to Victoria Street / Kallang Road, where both sides of the road are covered by tents for the crazy packed bazaars.

The excitement feels so real that even our clients want to be seen! Therefore, we do have a prime site here that is able catch the crowds:

This place is strategically located at the cross junction of Jalan Sultan and Victoria Street, leading to Kallang Road which then leads to Geylang Road, which perfectly captures the attention of travelers going from one bazaar to another.

Within the vicinity of attractions, mosques and places of halal eateries, it certainly is a prominent location to target the massive crowds, because the peak period is coming!
