Have you heard the latest NDP song – “The Road Ahead”? August 9th is around the corner and Singaporeans are all ready to proudly hang out our flags at our windows while singing our favourite national day songs yet again. Just this weekend, we can see many flags adorning our public housing estates and walkways 😉

Our country has progressed tremendously over the last 55 years of independence. This progress is not possible without every Singaporean individual that helped to build our country. This consists of not only our forefathers who stepped on this island and laid the strong foundation but also the younger generations that continued to push for even greater successes.
This August, we have something more special to unite on – Olympics. Despite the unfortunate postponement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics last year, the Olympics is now happening in Tokyo. Team Singapore, represented by 23 athletes, is competing in Tokyo. It is a proud time for Singaporeans as it is the first time Team Singapore will be participating in Diving, Equestrian, and Fencing in the Olympic games. With our notable historical wins – Schooling’s first 100m butterfly gold at Rio 2016 and Singapore’s table tennis women’s team’s silver at Beijing 2008, we believe that our athletics are well-trained and all ready to do well in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
As much as winning is important, it is also the behind-the-scenes preparation efforts of our athletes who are balancing work, studies and life away from their families such as National rower Joan Poh who balances the tough schedule of being a frontline nurse and the vigorous training for the Olympics.
Much to look forward to our Singapore’s support for our athletes! [Click here to watch the games live]

In view of Singapore’s National Day, many businesses and organisations have stepped up to be a sponsor for NDP 2021. NDP 2021 has a number of sponsor tiers — principal partners, major partners and co-partners. TPM is delighted and honoured to be a principal partner of NDP 2021. TPM has displayed our National Day Video on both LED screens at Queensway Shopping Centre and People’s Park Complex. As an outdoor medium, these LED screens are visible and able to capture the attention of audiences in the proximity. The display of the national day video on our LED screens strengthens the sense of unity of Singaporeans and brightens up this season of celebration.
Proud to be a Singaporean company, we are certain that Singapore will pull through this uncertain pandemic season and emerge stronger.
Come whatever on the road ahead. We did it before, and we’ll do it again!
